Day 1: Arrive at Kotoka International Airport Accra, A short orientation would be given after you have been checked in into your hotel about the tour and the country Ghana in general. Relax in your hotel for the next day activities




Day 2 - Accra city tour The tour commenced after breakfast. with a visit to the Independence Square, a historic site that hosts the Independence Arch and the Black Star Square. This is a symbol of Ghana's independence and a great spot for photos. Next, head to the National Museum, which provides a comprehensive look at Ghana's history and culture. Explore the exhibits on ancient civilizations, colonialism, and the country's struggle for independence. Continue to the W.E.B. DuBois Centre, a museum and research center dedicated to the life and legacy of the prominent African-American scholar and civil rights activist. Learn about DuBois's life, work, and his connection to Ghana and then lunch break Proceed to the Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum after lunch to Pay respects to Ghana's first president, Kwame Nkrumah, at his memorial Park. The memorial park was a former British Polo field where Ghana's independence was declared in 1957. The Mausoleum is a magnificent Marble Monument and the last resting place of the first President of Ghana and his wife, Fathia Nkrumah. The park also serves a symbol of Ghana's freedom. It is a tribute to the man who led Ghana to independence and sparked the wave of decolonization across Africa. It also serves as a source of inspiration for future generations. This is a significant historical site that offers insight into Nkrumah's life and legacy.




Day 3. Makola Market a Vibrant shopping Experience Drive from the hotel to visit the Makola Market, Makola Market is one of the largest and most vibrant markets in Ghana. Located in the heart of the Capital city, Accra. this bustling marketplace offers a wide range of goods and services, making it a must-visit destination for tourists. you will explore the stalls selling everything from traditional clothing to fresh produce, and experience the sights and sounds of Ghanaian market culture. Continue to the Arts Centre, incorporating the Centre for National Culture Accra's main crafts bazaar, selling wide range of goods from ivory,leather, straw, wood, textiles, jewelry to all types of footwear made locally. A cool drive to labadi beach for relation after shopping at the centre and the Drive back to the hotel.




Day 4. Accra to Cape Coast Travel to Cape Coast, after breakfast with a stop at Assin Manso Ancestral slave river site, the burial site of two former slaves from the U. S. and Jamaica whose remains were re-interred in August 1998 during Ghana’s first Emancipation Day Celebration. You will see the “Slave River” where captured Africans were washed before being confined in the Slave Castles to await shipment to the Americas and the Caribbean Continue to Kakum National Park and Canopy Walk which is located inland of Cape Coast and is Ghana's most visited attraction. the forest covers an area of 375 square kilometers (145 sq mi). The park's most notable endangered species of fauna are the Diana monkey, giant bongo antelope, yellow-backed duiker, and African elephant. It is also an Important Bird Area with the bird area fully overlapping the park area. The bird inventory confirmed 266 species in the park, including eight species of global conservation concern. The park's best-known feature is undoubtedly its 7 suspension bridges which form a 333-meter-long canopy walkway, suspended up to 27 meters above the forest floor from trees that are over 300 years old.


Day 5. Cape Coast and Elmina Slave Castle After breakfast,we willdrive along the scenic coast towards Elmina fishing village that's both picturesque and gritty, charming and thought-provoking. What better way to appreciate it than to immerse yourself in the unforgettable glimpse of its main industry? meet the local fishermen to learn the intricacies of their trade and the challenges they face in their day-to-day work. next meet the fishmongers(women) in the village who will demonstrate the various stages of smoking in earthenware ovens. Proceed to the Elmina Castle for a guided tour of the first European settlement on the land of Black Africa built in 1482 by the Portuguese and used in both the gold and slave trade. and then lunch break. Continue to the Cape Coast Castle, after lunch. viewing en route the splendid beaches lined with coconut trees, dotted with fishing villages, as well as old slave and gold ports. Upon arrival at the castle, start exploring with a guide, who will share the tragic history of the moving site. Cape Coast Castle is one of roughly 40 “slave castles” along West Africa’s Gold Coast, and was the final stop for some enslaved Africans on the “middle passage” trading route to the Americas. visiting the castle, dungeons, and individual cells with a guide offers insight into the conditions that enslaved Africans faced, and into the dark history of slavery in Africa. Drive back to Accra after lunch




Days 6. Shaii hills and Akosombo boat ride Visit the Shai Hills Resource Reserve to observe wildlife such as antelopes, baboons, and monkeys, and see artifacts from the Krobo people in the onsite caves. Continue with Akosombo boat cruise to enjoy breathtaking views of the Volta Lake, surrounding hills and lush forests. Swimming, kayaking, paddleboarding or relaxing deck and also to learn about local fishing communities, history and traditions.




Day 7- Departure. Kotoka international Airport, Accra Enjoy the morning at leisure after breakfast. Check-out from the hotel is 12pm. You can visit the Oxford Street or Accra Arts & Crafts Centre for a last minute shopping before you are transferred to the Kotoka International airport for your a departure flight
